OBITUARY Frontman: I Am Totally Psyched And Ready To Get This Album Out!
August 23, 2007Vocalist John Tardy of the Florida-based death metal legends OBITUARY has issued the following update:
"With only a fews days until the release of our newest CD, 'Xecutioner's Return' (out August 28th),and we really want to thank all of the people that have helped us this far. Starting with Mark Prator and RedRoom Recorders, Jim and Tom Morris and Morrisound Studios, Candlelight Records, and the unbelievable coverage from all the magazines, radio stations, webzines and our fans! This has been the most positive feedback about any release we have ever done. I am totally psyched and ready to get this thing out!
"Mark Prator, who produced/engineered 'Xecutioner's Return' with us, also helped us design and setup our own studio for the recording of this CD. This was so important and now gives us the ability to record right here at my house. We tracked the new CD in our studio and then worked with Mark at his studio, RedRoom Recorders, to complete the mixing. Thank you Markie!
"Our new label Candlelight Records has done a better job with this release than we have ever had before. We have been busy every day with something to promote this CD! Thank you!
"Like I said, this has been the most unbelievable coverage that we have ever had! Thank you to all the writers and all the magazines for all that you have done for this band!
"To our fans: We have laid it on the line with this CD for you guys and really need your help to finish this! I know how easy it is to download music for free, but without the sale of CDs all the above becomes harder and harder for us to do. Please give us the support we need to continue!!! Thank you."
